A coaching book that every coach should have, even if they don't coach wrestling.

Valentina Kalika is a national treasure. American Women's program has four gold medals. Valentina produced half of them. His clinics are world class. His knowledge of wrestling, the human body, of strategy is something else. Now he put it into a book. The book is very different from other coaching books I've seen. It's not about workouts, or moves. The technical side. It's more about the heart. It is about the true art of coaching at a time when everyone is trying to make it science. He is getting into the motivation, the why. Why coach: love of sport and love of people. I'm so glad that Valentin Kalika decided to write this book and share his wisdom and experience not just with the past and future olympians, but with anyone who decides to read this book. A book that like Heart of a Champion, which was about Track and helped produce Dan Gable, can be a coaching reference for coaches in any sport.
